That opened the way to controlling the trainer’s resistance automatically via the computer, making indoor training easier and more effective. Alongside the most comprehensive software package on the market, we now also offer apps for your smartphone and tablet and we are developing the cloud.

Training for FTP

FTP, or Functional Threshold Power, is an indication of your stamina. It is your power output at your lactate threshold. You can increase your power at your lactate threshold by training based on certain percentages of your FTP within specific training zones. You can perform this type of training session in the Tacx by subscribing to it. You create or import a training program and perform the training session at your specific intensity.
